Phoenix Sales Jobs Created by Top Retailer this Holiday Season

One of the nation's top retail stores is planning to create hundreds of Phoenix sales jobs ( this holiday season.

Macy's, Inc. recently announced its plans to hire 78,000 employees this holiday season, an increase of 4 percent from last year. Employees will be hired at Macy's and Bloomingdale's stores, call centers, distribution centers, and online fulfillment centers throughout the nation.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports that Macy's will add seasonal workers at all of the company's stores throughout the Phoenix area, as well as the company's online fulfillment center in Goodyear and its call center in Tempe.

"We always hire aggressively during the holidays to ensure our customers are well-served in this important shopping period," Terry J. Lundgren, chairman, president, and CEO of Macy's, said in a press release. "Our seasonal associates serve customers on the selling floow, work behind the scenes in store operations positions, interact with customers via the telephone in call centers, and staff the distribution and fulfillment centers that coordinate shipments to our stores and directly to customers who buy online."

Most of the seasonal positions are part-time and offer flexible hours. However, candidates should be willing to work evenings, weekends, or overnight. Some seasonal employees will be offered permanent employment after the holidays.

"Working in a seasonal position at Macy's or Bloomingdale's is a great way to earn extra money during the holidays," Lundgren added. "Many of our seasonal hires are students on break, stay-at-home parents, individuals in career transitions or those with extra time they would like to use productively. Retailing is a fast-based business, and working at Macy's and Bloomingdale's during this magical time of year can be fun and rewarding."

Macy's currently employs about 170,000 permanent employees. The company operates about 850 department stores in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.

I have realized that online degree is getting favorite because attaining your college degree online has become a popular option for many people. Many people have certainly not had a chance to attend a traditional college or university but seek the improved earning possibilities and a better job that a Bachelor Degree affords. Still others might have a diploma in one training but would like to pursue a thing they already have an interest in. Click here to know more about Sales Training Courses

I have seen that costs for online degree experts tend to be a terrific value. For example a full Bachelor's Degree in Communication in the University of Phoenix Online consists of Sixty credits with $515/credit or $30,900. Also American Intercontinental University Online comes with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a whole school feature of 180 units and a cost of $30,560. Online degree learning has made obtaining your education far more easy because you might earn your own degree from the comfort in your home and when you finish from office. Thanks for other tips I have certainly learned through your website. Click here to know more about Sales Courses
